We are a private company, well versed in the complexities of real estate investing. We have been developing our expertise since CNG’s first investments in the early 1970s.

Markets continue to become more complex and volatile and require a high degree of financial & capital markets acumen to profit from them. Our real estate investment rationale is grounded in comprehensive research and technical analysis to capitalise on asset mispricing and to maximise returns.

Our investment philosophy is value driven. We look for properties of sufficient size that will respond positively to the experience, knowledge and capital we can provide. We invest in properties that have realizable potential in the current marketplace and in situations where there is more than one scenario under which the investment can succeed.

There are often fads in investment patterns such as the recent residential buy-to-let boom and more recently, the commercial investment bubble. We, however, only pursue investments that have a fundamental investment rationale and frequently we are contrarian investors making decisions that have paid off in the short and long run. We have a strong grasp of the risks inherent in specific properties and transactions.

We understand that real estate is a capital-intensive asset – to protect your investment, you must buy right, obtain proper financing and sell at the right price.

Our multi-million pound portfolio includes a mix of all major asset classes – retail, commercial, industrial and residential. Our investments are located throughout the UK and in Continental Europe through our sister company, CNG Polska. We proactively manage our assets on an individual basis to maximize their returns.

Group SP’s clients are typically High Net Worth (HNW) investors and private family offices, from the UK and abroad, looking to diversify their portfolios. Real estate adds diversification to a balanced investment portfolio – its returns are weakly correlated with bonds and equities and thus it can reduce overall portfolio volatility. Furthermore, as we target several different markets and various asset classes, this diversification further reduces portfolio risk.
